Ep. 20: How to get Spiritually Fit with Intensati Creator and Motivational Speaker Patricia Moreno

There are moments in life the Universe sends you signs. It sends you what you need, it knows whom you’re supposed to meet, it tells you where you ought to be. It is up to you to see it, to keep an open mind and open heart to realize the Universe is speaking to you.

You might think I’m being woohoo or a bit over dramatic here. But walking into the IntenSati yoga class of Patricia Moreno 6 years ago was the Universe telling me “take a look at this”.

I had brought my life to a breaking point with fear and shame being the driving forces. Feeling victimized, enraged, feeling at a loss ready to throw everything away, my marriage, my family life, my life in New York.

Experiencing the overflow of positivity yet empathy in Patricia’s class was opening a crack the door to spirituality in my life. I knew nothing about yoga, about affirmations, about visualizations, about talking to and seeing myself.

Patricia’s relationship with her tall body and fluctuating weight was directly linked to her self-worth which also brought her to experience a breaking point herself. Thankfully, this was the beginning of IntenSati.

She calls her work Spiritual Fitness. Take an IntenSati class and you will not come out the same on the other side. It’s reminding yourself over and over that you possess all the attributes to make a positive change. It’s a workout for the mind that demands practice and repetition. She makes a point to challenge the mind as much as the muscles, allowing the body to take space and move with gratitude.
