About

Bonjour! It's MarieLine.

I have realized in my own journey to figure it all out that there’s a T-Factor in all of us that makes us stand out. Mine is pretty obvious, it’s Tall.

Being very tall has shaped the person that I am today and inevitably the choices I have made in my life. To me, my height seemed to be at the center of all my problems. I was confused with my body and didn’t get to appreciate it. At 36 years old, I started a long process of soul searching. Through a series of mindset shifts, I have managed to find my path to bliss. The T-Factor is my book of life on which I share my findings and my songs, hoping they will help you and inspire you.

I am determined to lead a more meaningful life where everything is done with intention. As an accomplished athlete, I know the importance of a strong body, inside and out. I have a 100% Gluten Free diet for tummy reasons and a reduced animal products diet for environmental reasons. I have discovered the limitless world of Yoga, meditation and Ayurveda to help me with a healthy mind through repetition, rituals and good habits. Sharing and teaching what I know is one of the biggest joys in my life. With the T-Factor, I’m gathering the resources I wish I had through the years. Tall Fashion is finally a thing. My goal is to bring you a Tasteful and elevated selection of what’s out there to make you feel empowered and included.

As a mother of three, I share my struggles with love and a dose of humor. I keep a reasonably Sustainable Home and I’m passionate about reducing plastics. The guests on the Podcast all bring their Tips and Tools to the Table on how to lead a smarter life.

With all that, I hope you’ll find valuable information to make conscious decisions in turn for yourselves.

See you out there, ML.

MarieLine is a multi-faceted artist from France who has worked in film and TV, theater and modeling in her home country and the US. Her TV work include “Sous le soleil”, one of the most syndicated shows in the world, “Rescue Me” (FX) in the US and others.

Now an experienced songwriter, her music spans several genres from Electro to Pop and is a mix of power and weakness. Power of the female spirit and sensuality of womanhood and weakness of profound doubt and unfulfilled desires. Her music reflects her empathy and depth of emotions from downright funny to various levels of darkness.

ML caught the writing bug as a teenager in her hometown of Nice, channeling her angst over her battles with her unusual height and family struggles into words, a melody, and a rhythm. The daughter of a world champion tennis player and a successful Swedish model, she grew up in world where beauty standards were high. At 10 years old, she gave up on gymnastics once she was touching the floor at the bar apparatus. At 12 years old, ML was put on a hormone therapy to slow down her growth. As a teenager, she participated in the Elite Model Look where she failed to reach the finalists round. The reason given then was that she wouldn’t fit in the finalists’ dress. At 6'2", she’s had to live in a world that constantly reminded her she didn’t fit in. She’s struggled for a big part of her life with body-image, self-esteem and more practically, to find clothes that fit her frame.

ML is determined to bring about a shared experience with her blog and podcast on what it takes to overcome being different. She is fascinated about people who dare to live authentically and in her pursuit of doing just that herself, she hopes to help others find their truth, their T-Factor.

After 20 years in New York City, ML currently lives in the Hamptons, NY, with her family. As a busy working mom, she juggles her time carefully to create a better world to live in. For herself, her family and others.
